What is Thrive?

Hey all!  I know it's been a few weeks since I've shared anything creative but I've been a little preoccupied with some super amazing things and am so excited to share with you!  I've found something that has literally changed my life in more positive ways than I can say.  I was introduced to a Health & Wellness product called THRIVE by Le-Vel.  I'm so excited to be sharing it with everyone because I want the people I know and love to feel better in every aspect of their lives like I finally am!  Most of you know I have struggled over the years with weight gain, depression, anxiety, constant migraines and back and neck issues from the weight gain.

I've only been taking these products for 14 days and have already lost 6 pounds.  I FEEL happier. I don't have issues with staying focused all day like I did before. I feel amazing ALL DAY LONG even after running my childcare and trying to save some energy for my family at night!  I don't have constant battles with "myself" anymore and my joints aren't killing me like they were BEFORE Thrive! I'm just an over-all MUCH happier person and can't believe what a difference these products make!

If you want to take a peek at my website please go here... http://shannavineyard.le-vel.com/IndustryShift  The opportunity to share this with others is quite AMAZING as well! Ask me about that!!!!  I'd love to answer any questions you make have and get you living a happier and healthier life!

One more short experience I want to share.... I received this message from my friend Cathy a few days ago and it really touched my heart and made me feel THAT much more excited about what I am doing and how much I am helping people.... Here's what Cathy said about her THRIVE experience...

"I wanted to wait one more day to see if it was just psychological or not. I really have decided it's not! I feel 1000% times better than just 3 days ago! I am more alert and not tired, and this is with sick kids!  My husband and I were at our wit's end, trying to decide what to do with me. For a few years now, I have been moody, grouchy, depressed, and tired. So tired, that I needed a nap every day just to function. I have been to the dr. numerous times. I have had hypothyroidism for 10 years not, so they have upped my meds many times, thinking that was the problem. I have been on anti-depressants for about 4 years. Didn't really help either. I was just "down" all the time, didn't want to really leave the house, wanted to quit my job; really I would be happiest being left alone and sleeping. Then, I would feel so sad and guilty about feeling this way and not doing enough for my kids and my husband, that I would feel even worse! It was a vicious cycle, and no way to live.

I honestly, believe, with all of my soul, that Thrive has helped to kick start my body back into the land of the living! I can tell that it is doing things to get my energy level back up and this in turn, is helping raise my mood. I even exercised a little yesterday, which I haven't done in ages! If this continues to work, like I believe it will, I will consider it a miracle! Shanna, I thank you, my husband thanks you and my kids thank you, for sharing this wonderful product with me. I really believe that my life will change because of it!"

Contact me today so YOU can get your THRIVE on!!!

Getting scrappy...

So I've been creating some new scrappy projects.  I love, love, love American Crafts products.  If you are a scrapbooker then chances are you love them too.  They really are a staple when I'm creating.  Whether it be papers, embellishments, or even those must-have THICKERS.  They are accepting applications to their Design Team though tomorrow so I am throwing my proverbial hat in the ring!  Not holding my breath on this but would be SUPER-DUPER excited to get on that team!

I'm sure this is bad joo-joo to be sharing a few of the projects I submitted but I've never been the superstitious type so here goes....  :)   Oh and in case I don't check back in before the weekend.... ENJOY!!!!

350 Cards and Gifts

This FANTABULOUS special issue by Paper Crafts magazine has a fun set of my cards in it!  I was very excited to have it picked up for publication because getting a special issue in the mail from PC is ALWAYS a treat!  One of my favorite things to do here during naptime is curl up on the couch with an ice cold drink and soak up every ounce of creativity that is found within it's pages!   This issue is on sale now at most craft and hobby and scrapbooking stores. You will LOVE it.

My "Owl Always Love You" Card Set is found on page 46.  Here's some photos that I took myself. of the set.

I found those super cute owl stickers at Hobby Lobby and knew right away what I would do with them.  Finding a whole set of stickers that coordinate with each other is perfect for this kind of project.  Once I pulled together the papers I wanted to use... they all came together easily and quickly.  The gift bag to put the cards in was an added bonus!

One of my favorite things to create when making cards is circular sentiments in Microsoft Word.  One of these days I will put together a tutorial on how to make them.  You would be shocked at how simple it is.  But for now I will share them.  Here is a photo of them and then CLICK HERE to go to the Paper Crafts website where you can download a pdf or jpg and keep a copy for yourself.

All I did was sized them how I needed, printed them onto white cardstock then die cut them using
 Spellbinders Lacey Circles.  FUN!!!

My Holiday wall/display

I posted this on Facebook earlier today and have had a few friends asking if they can pin it on Pinterest so I thought I would post this photo real quick.  I will come back and update this post with more photos and details.... promise!  Thanks for stopping by and have a blessed Memorial Day honoring those who have and currently serve our country.... put themselves in harms way to defend our freedoms.  Hugs!

*EDITED TO ADD MORE DETAILS*

Hey all!  I'm back to provide a few more details about this little display.  I have this wall between the windows in the back of my house and the arcadia/patio door that needed something fun.  It used to look like this:

Pretty sad huh?  That table is one that Shane picked up from work.  They were going to throw it out but he saved it for me.  It's an old school changing table and had a small pad in the top of it.  I went nuts on it with some black spray paint and turned it into something I was happy about using in my home.  Spray paint can work miracles I say!!! HA!

The next thing I did was got that amazing photo of my girls enlarged to a 16x20 and found a super cheap frame at Hobby Lobby to put it in. I painted it red and sanded it down first to age it's look a little.  Easy peasy! But this photo is by far my favorite part about this new display.

The other fun things I picked up at different places.  Hobby Lobby, JoAnn's, Michael's, and this really cute shop out in Orange, California.  The other favorite piece I have is the Declaration of Independence that I printed off the internet and framed.  Super easy and fun way to add to a patriotic display.

Scrapbook and Cards Today Giveaway

There are few things that make a cardmaker happier than seeing her cards published in a BEAUTIFUL magazine!  When Becky Fleck asked if I would like to contribute to this Spring Issue of Scrapbook and Cards Today.... I literally did the jiggity-jig in my kitchen!!!  Now that this amazing publication is finally shipping I can share my cards with you that I created PLUS some of my favorite products that I used as well!
I'm also giving away a copy of this issue to one lucky winner!  So be sure to leave a comment for your chance to win!  Winner will be announced by April 4th.

These first two cards were my favorite of the bunch....  I fell in love with this Woodland Park chipboard by October Afternoon and knew I had to use it.  It just SCREAMS Spring and I also LOVE dimension on my cards so this chipboard was perfect.  The little bunnies are seriously the cutest things ever!

This next card was a quickie because that's what makes using stickers AWESOME!  I absolutely ADORE this American Crafts Dear Lizzy Neapolitan Stickers Book
This card MAY HAVE taken me about 10 minutes tops to create because all I did was layer some paper and stickers!
Easy peasy!

Okay..... and these last two cards were super fun because I got to do some coloring with my watercolor pencils using the images designed by Becky Fleck.  So stinking cute and fun!  You can find better images and links to purchase them here on the Penny Black Blog.

Okay..... don't forget to leave a comment for your chance to win a copy of this Spring Issue.
Thanks for stopping by!

More Chevrons: The Twinery Challenge

I got to play a bit again during naptime so I tackled the chevron and green challenge going on over at The Twinery.  Love their Baker's twine!  You can NEVER have too much of this fun stuff!  I use it on all kinds of projects!  But I had to make a new one for this challenge so here it is.

I have been without my printer FOREVER it seems like.  But I finally got a replacement so I made some new word art especially for this card and posted it below so you can save it and use it if you like.  I love mixing different patterns together so the polka dots with chevron just makes me happy!  Okay.... quickie post for today!  Thanks for stopping by!
Happy Hump Day!
